Fall is in Full Swing!

Check our website for a Paper People Clothing stockist near you.  We've just added two new locations to our list: Persephone's Wardrobe in Guelph, ON and Awear in Collingwood, ON.

We've already begun shipping out to stores across Canada and will have more goods going out in the coming month!

Here is head designer Jenn, preparing an order for one of our Calgary stores!

Quality control is so important to us!  Each garment is carefully examined before sending out.

As fall gets started, we are already finishing up orders for winter hats and mittens!  Yes, our popular one of a kind mittens will be back this winter. Plus have you seen our new Grace Demi Turban? Definitely one of our new favourite winter accessories!

Now it might look a bit like chaos, but as is any creative work room.  We are working hard to get the orders out to a store near you. See you soon!

Keeping busy to bring you fall!

Even though it's still SO hot out, we are approaching the end of Fall/Winter 2012 production!  The studio is in chaos, but this is a good thing as we finalize the last touches to our collections in preparation for boutique distribution!

We happily prep the last minute details, getting these garments Paper People perfect!

We remain focused and inspired with our Paper People wall, encouraging us to continue sewing buttons and snaps so that our happy customers can proudly wear their PP goods!

Orders ready for shipping will soon be available at a boutique near you, as well as through our soon to be launched online shop!  Keep in touch with us online via TWITTER and of course LIKE our facebook page for up to the minute PP News!

Paper People visits Free People!

Warren & Sivan pose with the art bike out front.

Sharlene, Jenn & Sivan against the installation wall.
On Thursday evening the Paper People production team took a visit to the Free People Toronto boutique opening.  Siv and I have been Free People fans for a long time but this was Sharlene's first chance to become acquainted with the brand.  After leaving Warren commented that FP should make menswear.  Personally I'm hoping for a home line!

Jenn & Sivan descend the magical antiqued staircase.
The team browsed the racks and marvelled at the installations, displays and decor.  Every detail was perfectly planned out and executed from the fabric trimmed tree in the front window to the rustic staircase leading upstairs.

Sharlene, Jenn & Sivan giving some dresses a try.
The girls tried on a few dresses for fun and the patchwork one was just begging to come home with me, so it did.  I've been looking for a cotton, sleeves, scoop neck, "fit and flare" dress in an colourful yet muted palette for quite sometime and this one fit the bill perfectly!  I can wear it immediately in this heavy summer humidity or I can layer it up and wear it all winter long.

Note to self: make cute lightweight cotton dresses in muted yet lively colours next season.

Warren & Sivan: we need these lanterns!

We love you Free People!  We'll be back again soon!
